Summer makeup is my absolute favorite. Give me all the pinky, peachy, glowy vibes please! With warmer weather I like to keep my makeup simple and light. There’s nothing worse than having your face melt off midway through the day. Today I’m sharing a super easy and effortless makeup look from Tarte that is almost entirely ON SALE! The Secret Sample Sale is officially live and has products at all price points – $5, $10, $15, and $20 – so it’s the perfect time to stock up on your faves or try out something new! My tried and true Tarte products are pretty much anything eyes and lips. They have literally mastered the perfect palette and the perfect nude lip.

I did a video tutorial on IG stories, but in case you missed it I’m breaking everything down here:

Eyes – Tarte Shaping Eyeshadow Palette

Crease: The easiest way to add depth to your eyes is to play up your crease! It takes 30 seconds and makes a world of difference. For this look I blended shades Shine On + Stellar right above my crease to create dimension.

Outer Corner: Then I took Beam + Stellar and concentrated it on my outer corner. My motto with darker colors is to start with a little. Once it’s on it’s really hard to get off, but if you feel like you need some more oomph you can always add more!

Middle Lid: I love to use shimmery warm colors on my middle lid. This creates the illusion of larger eyes and really makes them pop! Here I used shade Glow Down for the perfect shine.

Lower Lash Line: I never use eyeliner because it’s a bit harsh on me and frankly eyeshadow is just easier. I used Beam on my lower lash line which helps make my eyes appear bigger and adds definition.

Inner Corner: My #1 makeup tip is to always add a pop of light color to the inner corner of your eyes. It makes you look more awake and brightens your entire face. It sounds a little crazy but trust me! If you try it you will not leave the house without doing it! Here I used this pretty shimmery cream color, Twinkle.

Liner: Like I mentioned before, shadow is a great replacement for liner. For the upper lash line I used shade Glitz to create a soft wing – this helps to lift and define the eye.

Lips – Tarte Color Splash Lipstick

One of my all time favorite lipstick formulas ever is the color splash lipstick. It is hydrating without looking glossy and stays put all day long. I love the shade Pink Lemonade, but it’s been out of stock for a while so I had to get a replacement color. I recently picked up Sunkissed and I’m o b s e s s e d. It’s this gorgeous peachy nude and is perfect for summer!

Other Tarte Faves:

Shape Tape Concealer – A cult favorite for good reason. This concealer hides everything from blemishes to dark circles. Use it sparingly because a little goes a longggg way with this one! Right now the mini set with a glow wand is on sale!

Tartelette Toasted Palette – One of my go-to palettes for eyes! I love the warm tones in this one because I have brown eyes and olive skin. It’s completely fool-proof!

Glossy Lip Paint – I love this lip gloss as a one and done quick, natural color. It looks great alone or layered over top of liner and lipstick. My favorite shade is Double Tap and it’s on sale!

Amazonian Clay 12-Hr Blush – The most buildable blush I own! And it really does stay on all day long. I love Shades Paaarty and Into You (on sale!)

Lights, Cameras, Lashes Mascara – I recently did a poll to see what are your favorite mascaras and this one was in the Top 5! It is one of the best all-around mascaras that does it all: lengthens, volumizes, darkens, and lasts all day! Try all the Tarte mascaras while they’re on sale!

A special thank you to Tarte for sponsoring today’s post! All thoughts and opinions are completely my own.
