Easy Holiday Beauty Look

So many of you have been begging me for the details on my makeup routine, so I thought it would be fun to show you how I get dolled up for the holidays! Even though I won’t be going anywhere this year I still want to look and feel my best. Nothing says holiday quite like a red lip so I went for a clean and glowy face to let my lips be the star of the show. Everything I’ve used here is from Nordstrom – my all time favorite destination for literally everything. The best part is that you can switch out the lip color for a nude or pink and this look is perfect for everyday wear!

Here’s the breakdown:

1. Prime + Glow

The key to any flawless makeup look is a good primer. I love mixing the Laura Mercier Perfecting Primer and Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow. The combination creates a clean canvas but also gives your skin a natural, subtle glow.

2. Foundation + Concealer

The Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation has been my holy grail since college! I have tried switching it up before but nothing works for me like this magical potion. It’s a medium coverage formula but is buildable if you want full coverage. I have combination skin and this works for me when my skin is dry in the winter and oily in the summer. It’s THE best!

My recent obsession is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. The name says it all. It’s medium coverage without being too thick and really makes your skin glow without being shiny! I’m wearing shade Custard.

3. Setting Powder

My go to setting powder is the Laura Mercier Translucent powder. It sets your makeup without looking cakey and doesn’t have flashback (that bright white glare that happens in pictures with flash on).

4. Bronzer + Blush

I am simply not me until I have bronzer on. I live by the Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder in shade Medium. It’s the perfect shade of brown – cool enough to keep you from looking orange, but warm enough to keep you from looking washed out.

To add depth I use the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow Contour Palette in shade Fair/Medium.

For a rosy, natural cheek I love the MAC Powder Blush in shade Blush Baby.

5. Brows

I love the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer. I’m able to get really good control with the shape of this pencil and the color matches my brows perfectly (Shade: Medium Brown).

6. Eyeshadow

Pro tip: Use bronzer to in your crease to add dimension. So easy!

I also used the Bella Sofia Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in shade for a bit more depth and for a pop of color in my inner corner.

7. Eyelash Primer

The number one secret to better looking lashes is using a primer! I adore the Lancôme Cils Booster XL primer. It’s a little pricey but it is worth every penny.

8. Mascara

I pretty much love every Charlotte Tilbury product I’ve ever tried so I decided to give the Full Fat Lashes Mascara a go. Overall, I’m pretty impressed! This is definitely a volumizing mascara, so you’ll want to layer with a lengthening one like the Lancôme Defining and Lengthening Mascara.

9. Lips

The lip liner to end all lip liners. The Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat is hands down THE BEST liner on the market. It is so easy to apply and makes your lips look naturally fuller! I switch between the shades Pillow Talk Medium (pinky nude) and Iconic Nude (brown nude).

I have struggled for years to find a red lipstick that I like. Until now. The Hourglass Confession lipstick is amazing. The formula is smooth, semi-satin and ultra pigmented. The best part? It. Does. Not. Move. Drink coffee, eat pizza, sip wine, brush your teeth, do it all because this lippie is here for you through it ALL. I’m wearing shade “I Still” and I still cant get enough of it 😉

10. Setting Spray

The MAC Prep + Prime Fix Spray is my favorite setting spray when I want a healthy, dewy finish. It compliments a simple red lip makeup look perfectly!

Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring today’s post. All thoughts and opinions are completely my own.
