Alright y’all it’s here. The best time of the year! No, not Christmas, I’m talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, duh! If you still have no clue what I’m talking about let me help you out. This is the BIGGEST clothing event of the year. Not only are there amazing one time deals, but this is the only sale of it’s kind – discounts on new arrivals, not clothes the retailers are trying to get rid of. If you’re looking to stock up on the must have looks for fall at low prices then this event is for you.

Since it’s one of the most popular sales of the year you must, must start shopping early. If you wait, it will be gone. TRUST ME. I’ve done it. I’ve made the mistake and my cardigan game has hated me ever since. Literally never again. Learn from my mistakes, just do yourself a favor and get the dang card.
Think Long Term
The best way to take advantage of the Anniversary Sale is to snag the designer items that never go on sale. You know those Stuart Weitzmans you’ve been eyeing but just can’t bring yourself to buy? Yeah, now is the time to snag them. My strategy is start with the designer and luxury brands you love. You will maximize your savings and get the best selection of sizes and colors on your most coveted picks. Then, grab the trendy under $100 pieces. These are the items they often restock throughout the course of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so if you do miss it (which you won’t because you’ve already gotten the card because you listened to me), you’ll have a good chance of still getting the item(s) you want. As the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale progresses, the online items start to dwindle away, but the in store items start booming. People are returning left and right and you might be able to cop something that was out of stock online! Seriously I did this last year and hit the jackpot. This is THE best kept secret and I am sharing it with YOU because, well, I like you! Another great way to maximize your spending is to use your 2x points day while doing your shopping. This way you’ll be stocking up on all your favorite finds while accumulating points for Nordstrom Notes later!
