When I think of trench coats I think of two things: 1) detectives, and 2) legit business women. At first I was hesitant to invest in a trench coat. I think I was in denial about the entering the corporate world full-time. Only real adults wear trench coats. I didn’t want to be a real adult! But I bit the bullet and made the purchase as an investment in myself as a business professional. I’m so glad I did because it has very quickly become a staple in my work wardrobe. It’s versatile and sophisticated enough to elevate even the simplest of outfits. My trench is currently on repeat while VA continues to decide which season it’s in.
